Molluscum after 2.5 years "cured"?

Nearly three years ago, I was diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum.  Prior to the appearance of the tiny lesions, I hadn't had intercourse in four months.  Now, after two and a half years without any lesions, I think I may have discovered one on my labia.  However, this is the site of a scar from the first lesion I found three years ago, and since I've just begun having sex on a regular basis again, I was wondering if the scar could simply have been irritated into this state.  I was also wondering if it were even possible for the virus to reappear after being gone for so long.  I know I should consult a medical professional, but I happen to be in a foreign country and am thus not covered under insurance.  Any advice on my question would be much appreciated.

The irritation has gone down, so I believe it's just a scar.  Thanks so much for the response; I've seen your other posts, and it's great to know that someone cares enough to reply to the questions and concerns posted in this forum.  Really, the effort is much appreciated.

A few days will tell you if its just irritation or a new MCV lesion.

If you've been this long without any symptoms, then this would have to be a new infection.
