Conclusive chlamydia test?

Hi,

I got a negative result for my chlamydia test. I did the test 6 days after the encounter how conclusive/ reliable is this negative result?

Reason I ask is that when I told the clinic i did the test 6 days after the exposure they told me to do another one as I didn't wait two weeks. Plus I'm still getting some uncomfortable feeling in my penis.

Thanks

Hi Vance thanks for the reply?

I'm still having symptoms, I've done another test for gonorrhoea this time as my incident was oral unprotected which was 4 weeks ago now. Still awaiting results.

I have no discharge whatsoever from my penis or pain when urinating. Just a burning sensation in my urethra which comes and goes. However, I have bad diarrhoea, and noticed a yellow foul smelling discharge come out of my anus. I've never participated in any anal activity in my life so I'm scared this discharge is linked to gonorrhoea in my penis.

So anxious I'm going mad.

Thanks

6 days is more than enough time for testing for chlamydia.
