Negative for all STD’s.. what do I have?!

I had unprotected anal sex with a massage therapist. ( no excuse but it was not planned and I got caught up in the ecstasy of it all ) a week or so later I noticed a small red blotch on the shaft of my penis. Went and got tested all negative and doctor said the splotch was nothing. 6 weeks later the small splotch turned into a full blow red lesion and another came up on the other side. Went to the doctor all Std tests negative. Only other symptom is some itchyness. Was diagnosed with fungal infection. 5 weeks I’ve been on Ketocozanole cream (anti fungal ) and haven’t seen much change. I’m concerned I’m being mis diagnosed. Where should I get a 2nd opinion a dermatologist or urologist? Thx

Has anyone cultured the area? Stay off the cream for at least a few days, and ask them to do a culture.

It's not a herpes sore - they wouldn't last this long.

Were you tested for syphilis?

It could be a fungal infection, and not responsive to Ketocozanole cream. You shouldn't be on it for that long, especially with no response.

There are all kinds of bacteria - non-STD bacteria - that can cause skin issues, like staph, etc. You need to get a would culture and find out what's happening here.

Thank you for your response. Is “would culture” a misspelling?
It is lol - I meant wound culture. Sorry about that!
