What are these?

I always had unprotected sex for around 1 year now. During the last 3 months of that said year, these sorta pubic acne-like (pus filled and tinged with blood) lesion in the area where my pubic hair grows. I kinda shaved the hair down there so I could get a better look at it, it didn't hurt a lot, just that it itches a damn lot. It's hard when I palpated it, the sorta feeling when you palpate an insect bite. I popped it and took out the pus and some blood then let it heal (maybe a force of habit on acne) after a couple of weeks to a month it went away. I did have some problems urinating, sometimes I feel like I really got to go, but when i'm there in the "little boy's room" just a few drips come out, but the weird thing is it made me more comfortable after peeing just a few drops, although it felt like my urinary bladder was gonna pop coz it's so full.

Could anyone tell me what happened? Should be worried more than I am now?

It sounds like folliculitis, and it sounds bad enough that you need to see your doctor.
