Penile redness

So I've been worrying about this redness on the tip of my penis which is along with tiny red dots basically pin or needle size, and they don't appear to be bumps if anything they may be slightly raised but I can't feel any bumbyness. They do not hurt, itch or have any discharge. And they do not have a center filled with anything white or orange. They are present on the top of my penis head and go from the "crown" area to the urethra. Redness is more profound In the middle of these areas, and is more noticeable and redness increases after masturbation, shortly after masturbation it does decrease in redness and seems to almost go away completely. I'd say I've noticed this for the past week maybe even 2 weeks. I looked inside the urethra and noticed a single red dot which is much redder then the ones on the top of my penis. The only time I ever get a tingly or maybe even mild burning feeling is when I think about the herpes symptoms and I believe this is do to the power the mind has over the body... other then that I normally go about my day like it was any other. They aren't present anywhere on the shaft, or other parts of the groin only on the head of my penis. Am I paranoid or is this an std..?? Any answers would be great, I just want some peace of mind.

Please see a doctor. It may not neccesarily be a std.

I've also just moved towards the paso robles area and it's very hot and not a something I'm necessarily used to on a regular basis.. could the fact that I've been sweating more in the groin area have any correlation?
