Htlv and oral

So i made the guy i was with have full bloodwork including htlv before we slept together but now find out he didnt have the htlv done. He is part aboriginal so now im freaking out amd cant ask him to do cause it didnt work out between us. Does anyone know what chances r of getting this from oral , both giving and receiving? Thanks

Its been 3 years now! I hope your well.  And im worried about the same problem. Since htlv transmitted the same way as HIV. Oral is zero risk. Unless he edjaculated in your mouth and you have a bleeding ulcer or so. Ur in less risk than encounter any way.
As i have read that spiting or swallowing is safer than keeping the semen in your mouth. As the stomach anzims can kill any bacteria or viruses.

Im anxious now i would worry more about other things. But somone made me suspicious.

Because it is rare in this part of the world..... I never really heard of it until I read your post... But if I were you I would put it behind me.. No need to stress over it...

ok thanks..doesnt really answer it for me though..guess not enough is known about this and i dont know why they dont include it in a normal std screening if it can be passed on sexually
