STD concerns

Hi,

I really hope that you can help me!

Just over 3 weeks ago I had unprotected oral sex from an escort (woman).  It's something I've never done before and am really regretful that I did it.  It's not something that I will do again.

A week after the oral sex incident I developed symptoms of needing to constantly urinate and was prescribed Macrodantin 50mg tablets by local doctor.

I've been to see the local GUM clinic and they have tested me for STDs and all results came back negative.  The tests were done 9 days after the unprotected oral sex incident.  I subsequently had further Chlamydia and Gonorhea tests 16 days after the oral sex incident to reconfirm results.  These came back negative too.

The GUM clinic gave me Metronizadole 2g single dose on the first visit and then on the second visit put me on the 7 day 400mg metronizadole course together with a 7 day course of 500mg Flucloxacillin.

I now still need to urinate more often than normal.  I've also developed what I think is 'jock itch' with irritation between my groin and legs.  Worringly the top of my foreskin seems to be much redder than normal.  My scrotum seems to be red and irritated too.

I would appreciate any help or reassurance please.  I have been severely stressed about this over the past 3 weeks so I'm not sure if stress and anxiety is playing its part in my symptoms.

Thanks very much.

Mike.

Thanks again Vance.

That makes me feel better.  I'm seeing a Dr tomorrow so I'll see what they have to say.

Don't think it is STD related. No STD had redness...STD's such as herpes and HPV have bumps/sores.

Thanks for the reply Vance.

The thing that's worrying me the most is my red foreskin.  Do you think this could be linked to the jock itch or do you think it might be STD related?

Thanks again,

Mike.

I can tell you that you do not have gonorrhea or chlymida due to lackof symptoms and better negative tests. You would have to follow up with your Dr...maybe a uriologist for the urination issue. The "jock itch" is probably just that, but your Dr will be able to tell you for sure.
