Syphilis through rimming

Good afternoon guys,

Basically yesterday I rimmed a girl and I noticed that she had some sort of flat grey tags.  I didn't notice any open sores etc- could this be a sign of syphilis?  Sex was protected by the way.  Need to reassure my racing mind.

Syphilis is a round, red sore.

Sounds like she had some skin tags. Perianal skin tags are quite common, and are not contagious.

Thanks auntiejessi - it didn't appear neither round nor red. Not even an open sore.  So probably just a tag.  What's important that I'm clear on protected sex.

It's awesome that you had protected sex.

Using condoms protects you entirely from everything except herpes type 2, HPV and syphilis, They do offer significant protection against those, though.
