What should I do

I'll start from the begining and maybe someone can help me. I had unprotected sex with a woman "oral and vaginal" 4 months ago. 2 days later I had a creepy feeling in my urethra and 2 days after that the tip of my penis started burning. About 2 weeks after the encounter I started having a sore throat "more like inflamed feeling more than your typical cold sore throat" and swollen lymph nodes in my neck.

I'll cut to the chase. Since the initial sexual encounter I have been tested 4 times for all STD's and HIV and they have come back all negative 4 different times. My last std screen was 30 days ago and again all negative. Over the last 4 months I have had the burning of my urethra not so much when urinating but before and after and it lasts all day. I have had burning in my abdomen like fire at times (almost feels like there are specific tubes running form my testicals to my abdomen that catch fire for a few minutes and goes away) this has happened probably 6 to 10 times total over the last 4 months and sometimes it hurts bad! Also my testical have been sore and ache and feel tender all the time. My throat remains inflamed and my lymph nodes have been swollen for 3 months now.

I went to a urologist 6 weeks ago, explained my sypmtoms and guilt and worry of possibly infecting my wife with something (I was extremely drunk when the sex happened 4 months ago) that won't happen again. I have been married for 13 years and never did anything like this before and am not proud of what I did. Anyway the urologist said I had a low grade bacterial infection (he tested my urine) and pocked my prostate and said it was inflamed. He said I had a bacteria infection that had nothing to do with STDs after examining me and seeing my repeated negative std test results. He put me on Bactrim for 6 weeks (i was able to take it for 5 weeks and had a reaction, the doc said stop taking). I went back for my check up yesterday and told the doc that I am still having all of the sypmtoms I had 6 weeks ago and told him again I was worrried about infecting my wife with whatever I have going on. He got upset with me and said I was crazy and my guilt was causing my disorder. He didn't test my urine or poke my prostate again. He just said forgive myself and move on and he wouldn't see me anymore, it was a waste of my money. This surprised me becasue I only saw him once with one followup visit.

Anyway, the symptoms are real, I have real pain, burning and swelling/tenderness in my testicals. Never had any discharge though. 2 weeks ago I started checking my wifes underwear becasue she had been complaining of head aches, fatigue and cramping over the last 2 months and she said her period keeps starting a few days earlier for the last several months. I noticed over the last 2 weeks I saw slight to heavy discharge in her underwear daily and don't know what would cause this for women other than stds. Her period was over 7 days ago and still daily discharge. She had a clearish yellow 2 weeks ago and now it looks slightly brownish (hard to tell on dark colored underwear). She was tested for all std's last week and all came back negative. She hasn't said anything to me about unusual discharge in her underwear "probably becasue she's embarrassed" and I'm afraid to ask. What do you guys think reading this. I'm not crazy I just don't know if I should tell her and ruin our marriage because I am afraid of health issues I might have given her. I love her and am afraid for her health. I feel like the thing I did was so selfish and wrong why be selfish again and break her heart and tell her if I don't absolutely half to for health reasons just to clear my stupid consience. Does this sound like HPV or STD's??? Thanks to anyone who will help.

It could be a yeast infection, it has nothing to do with an STD. You tested negative 4x's. You didn't have anything to give her.
Stop checking her underwear it will do you no good.

Thank you very much for your help. What about my wifes discharge it has been constant for the last 2 weeks I have been checking her underwear. Maybe longer since I just started checking, I don't know. Is a teaspoon to a table spoon of discharge daily for women normal?

You gave tested many many times...actually over tested. Believe your tests. 30 days ago was 3 months and every test you could have taken is valid at 3 months. You do not have an STD or HIV. As far as HPV you can't test for it, but it should not be a concern.

The concern I have is your mental state, I have to agree with your Dr that these "symptoms" are in your head, or at the very least these symptoms have nothing to do with a STD.

Anxiety and guilt really do a number on people, don't dismiss that the mind is the most powerful part of our bodies. It can make us see things and feel things that are not there. Trust me I was in a situation similar to yours and I had pain and I had other things that were not there.

What you can do is see another Dr for your symptoms but do not bring up the fact that you are nervous or anything like that. Tell them your experience but keep out the guilt. You also might want to try posting in the anxiety form here. This might help you a lot more then you think.
