Chronic Genital Rash Please Help 9 Dr. Visits

I have been to the doctor 9 times after receiving oral sex from a stripper.   5 days later a rash appeared on my inner left thigh that is 2 inches by 4 inches and goes all the way to the top of the pelvis crease.   What concerns me is I have had it now 12 weeks.   I have been tested for syphillis and HIV both negative...but the chronic condition of this and non-repsonse to Nystatin, Bactrim and even Acyclovir has been unsuccessful.  I have had mild fever 99-99.5 and swollen lymphnodes.   I am hoping someone here may have an idea as to what I have contracted as every doctor keeps telling me it is jock itch but, I have never had it before and it will not go away.  Please help.

it's definitely not a std if it's been there for 12 weeks!!!

Many other germs out there you can get from surfaces and such that have nothing to do with std's.

Rash has been present for 12 weeks...and just itches.  No pain but it is "angry" looking as seems to be the favorite adjective of the doctors I have seen.   So that is the puzzle...as I do not frequent strip clubs but my lap dance just turned into a oral sex encounter and 5 days later the rash...and a chronic one.   So that is why I am mystified and convinced it is STD affiliated.   The doctors are baffled as well and just tell me it looks like jock itch...and now I am using a new cream that also seems ineffective for the 3 days I have been using it.   The rash browned like it was going to go away for 5 days 2 weeks ago and I was relieved only to wake up one morning and have the 4 X 2 inch area pink again and itchy.   Other symptoms have been mild fever and swollen lymphnodes in the neck and groin.  Puzzled...and if anyone has any ideas...please advise.   Thanks.

You've seen 5 doctors about this.  They've covered you for fungal infections and staph so far as well as herpes evidently.  It's not likely it's a std and related to the oral sex as far as a typical std infection.  It doesn't even remotely sound like herpes either from your description.  How long has this rash been present?

The visit to the dermatologist is the best course of action. Give the clinic a call and ask if you can be seen sooner than 9 days from now.

I know you are a seasoned veteran on the forum and respect your opinion...but what are the odds 5 days after this incident I acquire a chronic rash that is mystifying 5 doctors in 9 visits?  No prescription has helped.  I do have a dermatologist appointment in 9 days...can anyone assist me in perhaps what to ask for and how to resolve? I am condfident this is related to my oral sex incident.

It is not STD related. You can try posting in the dermotology community for some additional help.
