Definitive negative?

Back again, for the last time.  I tested negative at 5 months post exposure, but not suprisingly I am still worried.  I have noticed a red bump on my right knee 4 weeks ago that took some time to go away and another on my left knee that looked like a bug bite but now has an open sore with a little scab on it...

Could those be herpes or are they just bug bites?  Do I have to wait 6 months to be sure or will 5 do it?

Agreed that 5 months is plenty of time. No worries on the herpes front.

5 is plenty - no need to retest.

You could have your doctor culture or biopsy the spot and see what is causing it.
