oral sex on a prostitute
I foolishly gave a prostitute in a brothel oral sex. I only performed this act for say 5-10 seconds. Reality kicked in. This was totally out of character. Ive never shown any interest in going to one before, and certainly won,t again. Don,t know why i went. Im worried sick, and cant sleep.Im planning to have a full sti check, a hiiv test too, as i hope to settle down one day, and dont want to put anyone at any risk. I will avoid all sexual contact until im in the clear. do you think im over reacting, and would it be possible to contract hiv from such a short exposure? cant believe ive been so reckless, and stupid all because of a few drinks to many.
urine testing is only useful for gonorrhea and chlamydia. you need blood testing for all other std's.
hi, i respect your view, on not needing to be tested. feel so much more relaxed now and healthier as a result. out of curiousity, would a urine sample test for all stds be an accurate way for me to get checked, seeing as my exposure was due to oral sex and not intercourse?
thankyou, your comments have helped me relax. sorry for not responding sooner. been ill and had to work. so been feeling tired. had muscle aches and was shaking, but after get warm and sweating it out both have stopped. my throat is still a bit tender, but much improved. so it looks like ive had a bug. still think i should get tested just for peace of mind. its amazing how scares like this remind us of how precious life is, and how lucky we are to get a shot at it. just want to say that i think all you unpaid volunteers are amazing for taking the time to help other people, taking their problems on board, advising them, and calming their anxiety. thanx again.
we don't recommend any testing at all from this. it was incredibly low risk for a std orally.

Thankyou for taking the time to respond. Im grateful for any input. Hopefully i,ll be able to relax a little now. Ive noticed my throat is very red and a little sore on one side. Is this likely to be coincidental or could it be symptoms of an sti?
This was a low exposure for anything at all. You really will not get anything from a brief exposure like this. No one has been known to get HIV from oral exposures at all from medical books to doctor's perspectives. You will certainly not be the first to get it.
