STD possible? testing needed?

Hi Experts,

I will keep it very brief and appreciate your help with this matter.

I live in the UK and during a night out about a month ago I went to a strip club with some friends. I am married and have no interest in straying but feel I did something stupid because of alcohol.

I was pulled up on a stage in a club and the stripper removed my trousers so my legs where exposed but my underwear still on. She tied my hands behind my back and tied me to a strip pole. She whipped my legs a little and grinded her body on my legs / she had no underwear on so her vagina briefly (10 / 20 seconds) touched my leg when she danced at the side of me. After about 1 minute she untied me and I sat down and finished my beer and went home.

I have been worried I might have caught a skin to skin STD like herpes or syphilis due to her vagina touching my leg.

I have not told my wife because I don't want to create any problems in my marriage due to a night out with the boys.

Do I need testing and is this even a risk???

I look forward to your answers.

Thanks you for reading my silly story!

Hi James,

I rang a local clinic who said in some cases these are contracted skin to skin which got me worried - obviously because this was an innocent drunken laugh, nothing more.

I have read some misleading stuff on the internet as well but appreciate that I'm probably worried for nothing.

I developed a swollen gland in my neck two days which driven me to Google and syphilis came up as a possible which then got me worried about this event.

Prior to my swollen gland I was worried at all. I'm hoping its completely none related!

Are you guys 100% sure I can catch anything from her vagina touching my leg? I feel stupid for even writing this sentence but want to be sure!

thanks again guys.

No risk from that. Did the Internet tell you that was possible??

thanks for answering my question grace and for showing some humour ;) ha. I agree my wife finding out would be a risk!

I don't plan on telling my her because it was nothing more than an innocent joke amongst friends for a birthday celebration...hopefully it will stay that way!

So just to check I definitely cannot catch herpes or syphilis from her vagina touching my leg? the internet is an evil place which gives confusing information.
