Symptoms do not point to herpes.
If you want to test then you can go to your Dr. Your Dr can not share this information with your parents.
Your parents might get a statement from your Insurance company but it does not say what exactly was done.
As AJ said you are not having symptoms of herpes. I think everything you have is normal pain that happens to everyone. Since you have been nervous I think your mind is making it into something that it is not.
thanks again for the help so far if you could please read my last post i would really appreciate it. I would just like to add that the pain in my genital region feels like a slight stinging deep inside somewhere that I cant quite pinpoint. It almost feels like its around or underneath my right testicle and a little in the bottom of the urethra. I have been constantly examining it so i wasnt sure if that would have done anything but over the past few days it has gotten a little worse along with the back and leg pain. Also how can you tell if you have swollen glands in the genital area I'm having a tough time determining if they feel normal or inflamed?
well thats nice to hear and gets rid of a little stress but i'm still a little worried. But here is whats going on with me which is why im a little nervous.
Last hook up was with a random girl 35 days ago. (Horrible life decision I know)
1.) 2 days after hook-up: I noticed I had a real white tongue. I have been taking some sinus medicine which could be the cause but its strange that I noticed it after this incident. I can scrape it off but it gets real bad throughout the day which I thought was oral thrush. The white tongue is still pretty bad
2.) 2 weeks: I had lots of itching in the genital area but was not real intense to the point I couldnt function. The itching went on for about 1 1/2 weeks (hopefully caused by stress but once again strange it happened after this incident).
-----No rashes, lesions or discharge
3.) 3rd week: I had a strange ache in my leg and buttocks for one night
4.) 4 1/2 weeks: I have some aching in my back and right leg with some slight pain (ache) in the genital area
**** some extreme stress and depression as well
So now that I have given you the low down do you still think I dont need to be tested?
Thanks again for everything and sorry for all the questions.
I don't think you need to be tested for herpes. You aren't showing any signs of it.
Aj
o ok i went to an STD clinic but they said they dont test for herpes because its so expensive or whatever, so i didnt think anyone else gave herpes tests besides going to my normal physician because i obviously dont want my parents to know about this.
What is the cheapest but accurate herpes test out there?
In America they have free clinics and planned parenthood usually gives breaks. and if you have insurance that covers testing.
