slight scare

Hi,

right I brieftly tell you my story. I was in thailand and had a scare. I had sex with a prostitue and the condom broke- I talked to a friend who came over with me and he told me that he had contracted an STD in the past and he was told to take two doses of Azithro (4 and 2 tabs- think they were 250mg each). I did this the next day and the day after. The thrid day for the next 7 days I took 2 tabs each of doxycycline.

It has now been 11 days since I had sex with her and have yet to contract any sympthoms.

I also got her tested and all her results came back negative - anti hiv,VDRL, HBs Ag, HBs Ab (dont ask me what some of these mean).

Anyways I am getting checked on Friday evening but am wondering what are the chances of me having anything-HIV or any of the STDs?

I received oral but did not give it, I did not kiss her and the sex lasted approx 10 mins (not sure when the condom split).

Any comments (especially doctors) would be greatly appreciated

David

Hello

There are no doctors on this forum, you have to pay for an expert's advice.

Also, don't worry we won't ask you what those tests mean, of course I encourage you too look them up.

A single HIV antibody test at 3 months post exposure is recommended.
