unprotected sex; negative PCR tests at 48 hours, but have symptoms

I am 52-year old man and had sex with girl high risk of having STDs. 48 hours later I have some mild pain in uretha and need to urinate every hour; I immediate went to clinic for a PCR test. its all negative (chlamidia, gonoreah, trich, mgen) but I still worry.

2 months ago I had a mild ecoli UTI infection that I decided not to treat and it went away, so I thought. But it felt similar. I have enlarged prostate

probably its one or the other; I thought PCR tests are very specific and would pick up even a little infection, surely if I have symptoms there would be enough bacteria for it to register on the test? or more likely  could the sex have caused UTI to return?

That's almost certainly too soon for a PCR test to detect any STDs. Obvious question here - were you tested for a UTI?
