Your symptoms don't sound like HPV, herpes, or any other STD, and clearly your risk is low from the exposure you describe. I'm not sure what you mean by "shedding"--maybe flaky skin? But of course I can't be certain about anything from a verbal description; you should see a health care provider, perhaps your local health department STD clinic.

and by the way the shedding and certain bumps i was freaking out about dissappeared. not the line of bumps on the head and under the ridgs...
The additional information doesn't change my opinion or advice.

i have similar symptoms, however im not exactly what is sure by the bumps being in a line? there are bumps on the head, and i did experience some dry skin and the skin flaked off. I didnt notice any of these symptoms until roughly 3 months after the first time of unprotected exposure to a girl who i am in a long term relationship with. The bumps went down a lot with 1% hydrocortisone which i used for a week and a half, however they started to come back after i stopped using it. It could be anxiety which is making it persist, however I wasnt worried at all prior to the first symptoms i had. what should i do? im extremely worried now, my girlfriend said she was tested for everything, even had a pap smear done after her last relationship and all came back negative, how is it even possible for me to have something and have it persist for a month and a half and not go away on its own? please help
