Hello,
Three months ago I (a man, 31 yrs old) had vaginal sex (with a condom) and oral sex (no condom) with a woman (40 yrs old). I did not perform oral sex on her.
I have since been tested for the following STD's: chlamydia, gonnorhea, syphillis, HIV and Hep C.
I was tested for chlamydia, gonnorhea, HIV and Hep C 2 days after the incident. Then 15 days after the incident. All tests came back negative. I have also been tested for HIV at 10 weeks after the incident and it was again negative. She was also tested (one month ago -because I asked her to) for HIV and Hep C and they were both negative.
I asked her about herpes and she indicated that she has never had a cold sore on her mouth and has never had any lesions, bumps, rashes or anything that would resemble herpes in her genital area. She had been in a few relationships over the past 10 years and none of her male partners has ever had a herpes out break either.
I had a bump on my right inner thigh that turned out to be an ingrown hair (it was also tested for herpes by swab-negative) it was not painful at all.
My only symptoms have been a sore anus approximately 1 week after the incident. I attributed this to the loose BM I had after taking oral antibiotics (just in case for STDs) I had a 'relatively' loose BM this morning and it has cause a somewhat itching or burning feeling around my anus. For the past two weeks I have been experiencing the need to urinate frequently throughout the day. I saw an MD at a walk in clinic and he felt the frequent voiding pattern was due to high levels of anxiety.
What I really want to know is what are the possibilities that the burning/itching feeling around (can't tell if it is in) my anus are related to herpes (or more than likely related to hemroids)? Do men who have sex with women get herpes in/around their anus? I have never had anal sex.
Thanks,
