DID SHE INFECT ME? (Gonorrhea)

Hi I am a 26yr. old male.

I am now in a serious relationship 8 months. BEFORE MEETING HER I HAVE BEEN CELIBATE FOR ONE YEAR. After having our first intimate moment, we would perform oral sex, and unprotected sex. After a 1 week or 2, small reddish rash-like bumps would appear under the head of my penis(shaft). My skin is sensitive and uncircumcised and thought it was an irritation from her braces. Few days later during those 2 weeks, I had a burning sensation when I urinate. And finally There was a whitish green discharge coming out of the head. Just to see symptoms right after contact with this partner.

We went to go tested together. My Doctor saw the issue and said the reddish bumps were jock itch. And the burning and discharge where sings of Gonorrhea. He then explained how I could of contracted it through the back of her throat and or vagina. He gave me a shot on my butt and prescribed a antibiotic (one time only pill). Doctor said its treatable and tell her to get tested as well. Before and after this treatment my urine would be cloudy and smell awful. My genital areas would smell very moist and potent, usually would smell the sent of my partner on me (smelled kind of bacterial) I also had a blood and urine tests that showed up negative. but how can it be negative since the doctor said i had Gonorrhea and puss came out of my penis?! I was very confused and upset because I loved her...

I told her and she denied that she had anything and been with me only, witch I believe her. But she denied that one can get it through oral sex and my case was just jock itch, blah blah blah... I was so furious at her thinking she had a very promiscuous past and was too embarrassed to tell me. Her test results showed up negative, and had to prove to me I was paranoid, She had blood and urine tests that all showed up negative too. She also had a treatment of a shot and a pill. This puzzled me. How can she be negative of anything if I had SYMPTOMS?!

It is hard for me to comment on the bumps without examiing you however they certainly could be a fungal infection (jock itch) as you suggest or even irritation from your partner's braces.  As for the penile discharge, I've told you what may be ahppening. If you have other reasons for your concern in your relationship you have to sort that out with your partner.

Thank you doctor.

But I do find it unusual how I developed these red bumps during the same exact time and  the doctor stated was jock itch. all of these symptoms at once was too good to be true. no? :(

There is an alternate explanation which many doctors are not aware of.  A fair number of normal people have bacteria which are related to the gonorrhea bacteria but are not that are present in their throats as part of the normal bacteria present there.  On occasion, these bacteria can cause urethritis (penile infection) which looks EXACTLY like gonorrhea but is not.  This may have been what happened to you.  Such infections would get better following standard gonorrhea therapy.  In reading your post, I think this is a real possibility and that your tests, her tests and her statement that she had not been with others is all quite possibly correct.  If you have no other reason for suspicion, I would suggest you consider this as an alternate explanation.

The implications of this are also, that you and she were victims of bad luck.  furthermore, there is no reason for the two of you to change your sexual practices is all else is OK.  EWH
