Gonorrhea and condom

Dear Doctor,

Is there a risk of contracting gonorrhea with felatio while wearing a condom. I wander if I should be checked ( I am not so fund of the q tip business ... ) ? I do not have any sign, no pain while urinating or any discharge just a  tiny tingling sensation that I might be anxiety gerenated. I

Even without a condom, catching gonorrhea by fellatio is uncommon, although it certainly occurs from time to time.  But with a condom there is no risk whatsoever.  Also, gonorrhea of the penis almost always causes obvious symptoms, i.e. discharge of pus from the penis, often with pain on urination.  Absence of such symptoms within a few days after exposure is strong evidence against infection.  And I agree that the sort of minor tingling you describe most likely is related to anxiety.

Unless more specific symptoms develop, you don't need testing for gonorrhea, or any other STD, on account of this exposure.
