Results came back from 11 week/5day test negative today....I am going to try to put this incident behind me, never go near a prostitute again and move on with my life as these 12 weeks have been the worst of my life. Thank you for your insight, you do great work.
Thank you, I hope your right. It's frustrating because you never know if the chlamydia test was a false negative and sexual fluids were exchanged during intercouse. I am eagerly awaiting my 11 week 5 day test results tommorow.
I saw this comment before I replied above. As explained there, the urethritis probably was from saliva exchange, not "sexual fluids" -- and HIV is rarely transmitted by oral exposure, since saliva inactivates HIV. Anyway, statistically it is unlikely your partner had HIV.
This question should have been in the HIV Prevention forum; see the prominent warning in the Disclaimer message. Therefore only a brief reply.
No medicine alters the reliability of HIV test results, with the possible exception of advanced chemotherapy and potent immunosuppressive drugs -- and even those are theoretical, with few of any documented cases. Rhinocort and doxycline have no effect. Your test results are valid and accurate. You didn't catch HIV and do not need any further testing; the 6 week test was as late as you needed to go.
As for urethritis, at least that's an STD problem! Probably you had infection with adenovirus, one of the many common respiratory viruses. Did the sex worker have a cold, as far as you know? Adenovirus is particularly prone to cause conjunctivitis and some strains cause urethritis. It is easily transmitted to the urethra by oral sex and to the upper respiratory tract (including eyes) by kissing or even less personal contact. If adenovirus was the cause, it would have cleared up just as rapidly had you not taken the doxycycline. In any case, it is a benign infection with no future health consequences.
All is well. No HIV, no other important consequence from your sexual adventure in China.

The dillema is that I don't know if the condom broke, I dont' remember.
I got Urethritus, so it's possible some sexual fluids were exchanged, there is now way to guaranteed that the condom caused.
So assuming there was an exchange of bodily fluids, could the Rhincort that I take effect the results, and if (please god) negative after today's test of 11 week , 6 days, can I move on with my life?
Don't think any medication you are taking could affect the results. 3 months is considered conclusive results. As far as I understood you had protected sex which is not risky.
