Std/touching and roubing

Hi Doctor,
here is my situation. I gave oral sex to a boy with a condom involved because I was smart. But i knoticed that when I put the condom on I had no choice but to touch is genital area because it was impossible not to touch that area while puting on the condom. I have two questions. Well i touched him then touched the condom then gave oral sex. Is it possible that he could have had a disease (he had two partners before me) and that I caught it after i touched the condom then my mouth touched the condom during oral? My other question is that I washed my hands twice after the oral sex. Then about 4-6 hours later I touched myself without clothes on then I put my underwear on and grined up against something for a while. I am wondering if I still had the disease on my fingers (if he indead had a disease) even after washing my hands then i could have roubed it in realy good after I grinded on this object. Do you think it is possible that I have a disease? By the way I am a female if this information helps with the determination of wether I would have a disease or not. I dont realy have any syptoms other than the fact that my private area is a bit tender from the grinding.

Congratulations on your commitment to safe, condom protected sex.  You are at no risk from the theoretical exposure you might have experienced by putting your mouth on a condom that might have been contaminated by his genital secretions because you touched his genitals earlier in the encounter.  The micro organisms that cause STDs do not survive well outside of the body or on dry surfaces.  The sort of contact you had has never lead to STD transmission and I am confident that you will not be the first.  Similarly, you cannot get an STD by touching yourself hours after a sexual encounter.  The organisms would not have survived on your hand.    You have nothing to worry about from the exposure you describe and do not need testing.

In addition, statistically it is unlikely your partner had an STD of any sort.

As far as your soreness is concerned, it is most likely due to the trauma of "grinding", not an STD.  It will get better on its own.

Hope this helps. Take care.  EWH

Actualy my private area is very sore now because of the grinding so despite the fact that I could have an Std is it possible that I could have injured my private area by grinding?
