WHAT COULD THIS BE?

Dr, I am 29 years old and about two months ago my prostatitis was acting up so my Dr prescribed me cipro, and my fiancee had a yeast infection and she got prescribed antibiotics. Since after taking the antibiotic we both have only been with each other. For about a week now everytime I pee the end of my penis burns. Their is no discharge, and my sperm stains on my underwear are white. Sometimes my penis is moist, but I don't see any visual discharge. Its just the tip that burns when I pee. Its not painful just uncomfortable. Its like scathing an itch. When I pee its like the urine is scratching and itch at the end of my penis. I know this may sound weird, but its the best way I can describe it. After urination is stings for a little bit. Should I be worried about an STD?

Thanks.  Your clarifications make STDs unlikely as a cause of your symptoms.  I think you might iscuss this with your octor.  This may be local irriatation, perhaps related to a yeast infection or other source of irriation.  EWH

She was tested for std's, I was given Cipro for my prostatitis so I figure if I had an std then the antibiotic would have cleared it up. For the past year we have only been with each other and we both finish the antibiotics that was prescribed for us about a month and a half ago. I feel an itching sensation inside the head of my penis throught the day...

Welcome to our Forum.  Your description leaves out some details which might be helpful.  I'll try to provide some thoughts.

I note that you say the neither you nor your partner had other partners since being treated with antibiotics.  This suggests there had been other partners earlier.  If this was the case, were you both tested for common STDs?  For instance, you both should have been tested for chlamydia an gonorrhea an your partner should have been tested for trichamonas as well.  Also, it is not clear to me about when you finished antibiotics, when your partner was treated, and when your symptoms began

Is there any visible irrigation or rash at the tip of your penis?  Sometimes when there is a bit or irritation, contact with urine causes more discomfort and burning.  This sounds like a possibility an would also account for the moisture you notice.  If so, you could have irritation either from a yeast infection yourself or as a reaction to antibiotics.

With answers to my questions I may be able to add more comments but I suspect that to sort this out you will need to see your doctor so he/she can take a look.  As you point out, these are not typical complaints and thus direct examination by a trained professional may be helpful.  EWH
