All things considered, I continue to suspect you have no infection at all, certainly no STD. But you should follow your own doctors' advice. In any case, this forum deals only with STDs, which you don't have -- so I won't have any more comments. Good luck.
Doc, went to health care provider and they did a urine check. I am assuming looking for white blood cells in urine? anyway they said that urine was negative. they also did ultrasound on kidney, prostrate check, and other exams, etc..
Does the urine check see possible infection from gonorrhea/ chylamidya only, or does it include other type of infection like UTI or unknown bacteria? ie since neg can i assume no std, or UTI, or other bacteria?
anyway, they scratched their heads a bit, but still gave script for 2 antibiotics(ceftin/doxy) for 2 weeks since there is still ureathra burn and some testicle pain. i guess for just in case.
thx

See my advice above about getting professional health care. Feel free to return with a comment after that has happened, but until then there's nothing more for me to say.
update, now at 3 days & the irritation/burning has progressed a bit and basically its the urethra in various areas down to as low as the base of the penis.
Still no other symptoms other than feeling like i have a cold.
Could N9 cause such painful urethra irritation?. i must admit as the pain has increased my worry has gone up as well.
anyway, cant believe i have another run of concern. just seems so crazy to get so much irritation frm a fairly safe encounter.
thx again

Welcome back to the STD forum.
Since a condom was used and remained intact, it is virtually impossible that your penile discomfort is due to an STD. In any case, no STD is likely to cause such discomfort without penile discharge; and 36 hours is too soon for onset of STD symptoms. So all the logic adds up to something other than STD. If the condom contained a spermicide, especially nonoxynol-9, that's a good bet; N9 is pretty irritating stuff.
Of course see a health care provider if the problem continues or you remain concerned. But an STD acquired during this particular exposure is not a realistic explanation.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
