Could this be herpes or am I just crazy

ome basic info prior to question:

1. 24 year old male
2. In good shape and healthy
3. Latest sexual encounter was about a month ago
4. Tested prior to latest sexual encounter and all tests came back negative. (herpes igg 1&2 , HIV, etc)
5. I sweat quite a bit

Hi, I was taking a shower the other day and noticed a dark red spot, on a stretch mark, where my upper thigh and groin meet. I thought nothing off it and carried on. The following day, I noticed two more red spots; both in the same location in a row (a total of three red spots). I also happened to notice that one of these red spots seemed to look like it was a cut (if you stretched the skin far enough). Its also important to note that these specific spots don't cause me any pain (except when I press down hard on the site which sends an unpleasant feeling towards my testicles) and there were no "prodrome" syndromes to say the least. I do have slight pain in my testicles (like I said before) and light groin aches here and there, but I don't think they have anything to do with these blemishes.

Now, I had unprotected sex about a month ago, but the girl assured me she was safe and was tested; we had an extensive conversation on the matter and I don't believe she has anything. Then again most people don't think they have anything. Up until this point I have always tested negative for Herpes or any other std (IGG herpes select tests). Could this be the first sign of a new infection?

PPS - i just put peroxide on the area and no stinging.

Welcome back to our forums.  I'll be pleased to comment.  The rash you describe is not in a typical location for genital herpes, the description you provide is quite atypical for HSV, and the timing of your rash is not typical for a first episode of genital HSV.

To elaborate.
1.  Over 80% of genital HSV lesions in men occur on the penis.
2.  It would be most unusual for HSV lesions to form small blisters or ulcers within a few hours following appearance.
3.  Most initial HSV lesions occur with 14 days of exposure.

Putting all of this together, I see little reason for any concern about HSV.  I would not worry and nothing in your question suggests a need for testing.  I hope this comment is helpful for you.  EWH

Well thats a huge relief. I'm still curious to know what this fissure may be. I mean, it seemingly popped out of nowhere. Also another related note about my genital area which I also don't think is anything herpes, but I figured I would let you know.

on my shaft I have this painless little black spot (something that also seemingly came out of nowhere) and it protrudes just out a little so that I can feel it. I thought it was a scab and I tried to take it off, but it will not come off. I've had it for three days and do not know where it came from. Have any ideas on either of those things?

PPS. Even with the unprotected sex a month ago, you still feel as if this is nothing to worry about?

The black spots do not sound like HSV either.  If you want to know, I'd suggest consulting a dermatologist.  Sorry I can't be more help.  EWH
