Help Wart or not?

I had a bump 1 to 1 in a half inches above my penis closer to the left side of my thigh and went to see a doctor in Saudi Arabia where I work and he removed it by cutting it out.  I don't remember what it exactly looked like but they were not cauliflower or pink. I think it was a little darker and not as small as usual genital wart.  Also when you press on it the color turns a little white but not really white maybe because of the pressure applied. I did touch it and acidentlly toched other places and it did not spread. I asked him if it was a wart or contagious and he said no but was not very descriptive and told me not to worry.  The bump has not come back and everything is normal since the removal about 9-10 months ago.  When the doctor who was a surgical doctor cut it out it looked darjend and not pinkish like a wart.

1) Can this be genital wart even though it was not on the penis or scrotum?

2) Could it be something other than a wart or a common wart, skin tag?

3) What should I do and should I be worried?

4) Will the vaccine help and should I get it?

5) If I have a partner should I say something since I doctor told me not to worry?

Thanks!

HPV infections sometimes may be transmissible for a few weeks after warts have cleared up. After that, usually not -- and almost certainly no transmisson risk after 6 months, if warts have not recurred.

Welcome to the STD forum.

If the doctor who removed the lesion says it wasn't a wart, then it wasn't a wart.  And both your description and the location also argue against it.

1) Could it possibly be a warts?  I suppose so. But for the reasons you give yourself, it seems very unlikely.

2) There are many causes of skin bumps that this could be and I have no way to guess about other possibilities.  You'll have to ask your doctor.

3) I see no reason for worry.  Follow your doctor's advice.

4) The HPV vaccine does nothing for existing warts.  It works only to prevent future infections with the HPV types covered by the vaccine.

5) Since the doctor said not to worry, I see no reason for worry.  And even if it was a wart, now it's gone -- and that means you can't pass it on to a partner anyway.

Bottom line:  Almost certainly this wasn't a wart.  I see no reason for worry about it.

You have had your "moneys worth", and it is spinning wheels to be seeking more information about a condition you do not have.  Use the search function to see hundreds if not thousands of threads that have answered the same questions.  Or ask them on the HPV community forum.  That will be all for this thread.

Last questions I promise, haha.

1) Can you get warts on the penis with a condom?

2) If you were a condom can the wart not be prsent on the condom but somewhere else?

3) If possible can you tell me what it most likely could be?

4) How long does it take to clear your system?

Sorry for the questions maybe just parnoid and just trying to get my moneys worth.  THANKS for the responds.  I think I'm just worrying because of the scar the removal left behind.
