Is this a Chlamydia symptom or the side effects of birth control pills?

Hi

I've been on contraceptive pills for 4 weeks and 3 days.
A couple of days ago I was diagnosed of Chlamydia.

I'm having light & dull pain on lower abdomen (where I usually feel cramps) and irregular spotting .

are these the symptoms of Chlamydia or the side effects of birth control pills? or there's no way to tell?

I'm trying to figure out when I got infected so that I can tell if my partner cheated or not. Thanks.

most likely it was the chlamydia... you can be infected with clamydia for months without having any symptoms. if you or your partner had previous partners that were unprotected sex either of you could hae brought the chlamydia in the relationship.
