Molluscum transmission question

Hello, I'm hoping to be calmed by a knowledgeable practitioner about a recent scare. I was visually diagnosed with molluscum about 6 months ago. I only had a few papules on my shaft that remained small. They were treated with liquid nitrogen and actually went away within a month. About a week later I noticed a new papule on the other side of my shaft. After a few months it simply went away. This last one has been gone for two weeks now. Two days ago I had a coworker over and we got physical. She ended up on top of me and we performed frottage. She kept her pants on but took my penis out and touched it briefly with her hand. She then grinded on my penis for about ten minutes. Her pants remained on and they are about average thickness of material. She wasn't wearing underwear so there was only one piece of material between us. The next day I over thought and checked my penis for any new bumps I hadnt noticed. Of course, there are a couple tiny potential "beginner" papules. They could also be nothing... Sorry for rambling. Could there be any way, from what I described, she's at risk for infection? Both briefly touching my potentially still infected penis and/or the frottage with one small layer? Thanks

I doubt this could carry any risk.  For the reasons implied in my original reply, even unprotected vaginal intercourse probably would not have risked transmission of MC to your partner.  Don't worry about it.

Any risk from touching an infected area then a minute or so later touching her genital region briefly?

Thank you very much for the timely response. I should also add that I touched her vagina after more than likely touching my penis.. Any risk there? I think I know the answer but figured I should cover all bases. Again, thank you. You and everybody on this site do a great job

Welcome to the forum.

After several months, it is likely your immune system is fully engaged in fighting and preventing a recurrence of your molluscum contagiosum; you're probably cured at this point and could not infect your new partner if you wanted to.  Also, she could well be immune anyway; most people are infected in childhood and don't get it again (your own situation was the exception).  Finally, with the sort of contact you describe, there was no significant transmission risk for any STD, including MC. You can't pass STDs through clothing or by the brienf touching you describe.

So no worries, all is well.

I hope this has been helpful. Best wishe--  HHH, MD
