Need Clarification

Hello Doctor Hook/Hunter,

I wanted to get a clarification  about an incident that happened couple of hours back to strip club.  I went to a strip club  today and a striper approached me for giving lap dance. I took lap dance from her and during which i touched her breasts and body. She was wearing bra and g string during that act. She basically got her breast on my face but i neved kissed her nipples/lips. Then she told me that she could offer protected sex for 300$ /******** for 200 / hand job for 100. I clearily told her that i dont want any kind of sex and so agreed to get hand job. she removed her clothing got naked . I was fully clothed and removed my pants and when my penis came out she touched it with her hands for few seconds. she want to start stroking but i stopped her not to touch. I very briefly just touched her vagina. I could feel that her  vagina was shaved. never inserted my finger into her vagina. i then used my hand for masturbation. At no point i never had any sex (oral/vaginal/anal). My lips/eyes never came in the vicnity of her genitals. WHen i was masturbating, she was fingering her genitals. I was all done and then enquied if she was healthy and did regular checkups. Before leaving she gave me hand soap  and both of used it to clean our hands.  my question is the following : Is there risk for contracting STD's/HIV by this. I did go thru the forums and confirmed that there is no risk. My only concern is that my hands touched her nipples and vagina briefly before masturbating and she did touch my penis for few seconds. Can this hand to genital touch very very briefly can cause STD's. Please clarify

There may be rare cases of hand-genital transmission of HPV, but the chance is very low for any particular exposure.  In any case, everyone gets HPV anyway, and if it were ever to show up in you or your wife, you would never know where it came from -- and it probably would not be from this.  Disregard HPV entirely.

Thanks for valuable advise. Just being a paranoid want to confirm if there is a risk for hpv to get transmitted. In one of ur previous posts u did mention that hpv is spread by skin to skin contact . Does that mean that hpv is spread only by sexual Intercourse or genital to genital contact. In my case it was hand to genital. Do I still need testing

Patience, patience.  MedHelp standard is for replies on the professionally moderated forums within 24 hours.  This reply is 5 hours after the original question -- and even that wouldn't have happened except that I'm traveling and currently several time zones away from home.

Welcome to the forum.  I can confirm what you already learned by looking at other threads on MedHelp forums:  "I...confirmed there is no risk".

First, it is unlikely the stripper had HIV. The large majority of commercial sex workers do not -- well under 1%, on average.

Second, even if she had HIV, you were at absolutely no risk from these events.  HIV is not transmitted by touching, kissing, hand-genital contact, oral contact with non-genital body parts, and so on.  (If it were, AIDS would be a hundred times more common than it is and it wouldn't be considered an STD.)  Without a bare penis (no condom) inside another person's vagina, rectum or (maybe rarely) mouth, there is no risk -- period.  The same is true for other STDs as well.

So no cause for worry, no need for testing, and if you have a regular partner, you can continune unprotected sex without risk related to your strip club adventure.

I hope this has helped.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD
