Worries, maybe warts?

I cant put an exact time of when I noticed these bumps on my penis but it has to be at least 5-7 months ago.  First, I noticed just two very tiny bumps on or around the skinfold (circumcized)of the front of my penis.  I didnt pay to much attention to it and I think they appeared after a sexual act (not to sure how long after though).  After all this time, its still not gone.  Before, I couldnt see it when an errection was present.  Recently, I have seen the same type of thing happening on the right side of the penis head now aligned with the original...not connecting though.  But they are very small but I see the same similarities as the original ones.  I went to go see the dermatologist to see what he thought and initially he did not think that they were warts as I did but he didnt rule them out either.  Regardless, he gave me Podofilox to apply on the bumps to see what would happen.  I did so only on one and now, its been enlarged from where it was, almost like its def infected.  But on the bottle of the medicine, it states to contact your doc if the wart inflammes in any way and to stop using.  I am out of town right now so I cant contact him and thought I should drop a line to you to see what you think.  The bumps were never hard but normal feeling but after applying this medicine, it def became a bit more firm to touch.  Its def more

If your dermatologist didn't think you have warts, you probably don't--and I agree that a soft, pliable lesion is not likely to be a wart.  But the diagnosis/evaluation of a provider who has examined someone is much more reliable than that of someone who only has a verbal description--and anyway, most dermatologists are better at recognizing atypical genital warts than I am.

You need to follow up with the dermatologist.  Sorry I can't be of greater help.

Is there a way to find out without just visual daignosis for men to find out if they have genital warts?  Also, can you test for HPV with checking your blood?

Do you know the symptoms of using Podofolix or have been around it to tell me?  Like inflamation of the bump?  I think it looks a bit bigger since skin around the bump has been touched as well.

Basically, does what I described to you sound like a genital warts or a form of it?

There is no blood test for warts or HPV infection; diagnosis usually depends on visual inspection.  Sometimes a biopsy is done, though.

I already answered your last question the best I can.  Go back to your dermatologist with any further questions.
