Thank you in advance for your response. I'm hopeful that you can answer a few questions regarding STD transmission likelihood. Rather than using actual dates, I'll just give the timeline of events.
On Day 1, I performed brief fellatio. I was engaged in fellatio for a total of 15-20 seconds before I realized the risk and stopped. His penis was clean, with no sores or marks. He did not ejaculate and there was no pre-*** when I started.
On Day 3, Day 10, and Day 14 I had sex with my girlfriend of 4 years. On two of those occasions I performed cunnilingus on her.
My questions are:
-What is the chance that I contracted an STD (specifically Syphilis, Hepatitis B, HIV, or Herpes) from that one encounter above? I have shown no symptoms of any STD since this encounter, but could I still possibly have one and passed that on to my girlfriend in such a short period of time while being asymptomatic?
-Can you contract syphilis and not develop a chancre? If so, are you able to spread syphilis if you don't have a chancre?
-Based on the scenario above, is HIV infection realistic? What about Hepatitis B?
-If I contracted HSV-2 through this encounter, could I have passed that on to her (genitally) in such a short period of time despite not having any symptoms?
-Would testing for any of the STDs I mentioned above be reliable at this time? If not, how long should I wait?
Thank you for your help.
