STD Risk?

This past weekend I was at my brothers bachelor party.  We went to a strip club and I fell asleep on one of the couches.  One of the guys with our party apparently had a stripper come give a lap dance to wake me up.  As I woke she was one top of me grinding.  She then proceeded to stick her hands down my pants and rub in between my jeans and underwear, about 1 min later she started foundling my bare penis for a few more mins.  I think she may have touched herself once or twice before.  I have never done this before and was wondering if I could be at risk any STDs? Let me know ur thoughts.  Thanks

All STDs can cause asymptomatic infections, within one month or any other time. Absence of symptoms in a month is somewhat reassuring, but by itself not a definite indicator.

But I repeat you're not at risk, so this really isn't an issue anyway. If somehow I were in your situation, I would not get tested and would continue unprotected sex with my wife without any worry at all. You should do the same.

That's my last advice. Really, this is a non-issue except for your emotional reaction to the event.

Thanks.  Any response or knowledge to the other question I had on the previous post? Which was, have you found that if someone were to get an std they would usually (not always) show symptoms in the first month, since it would be an initial infection? I've have read that and was just curious if that is what you have found in ur experience. No additional questions.  Keep up the good work u a several others do in this site.  I really think this forum is a positive a lot of people..

Hello Howard..Again, thanks for continued insight.  This will be my final post you regarding this issue!  It has been 27 days since the incident previously discussed.  I have had no real symptoms that I have noticed, other than that upset stomach, diarrhea as also previously discussed and that has since subsided, so I am assuming that was probably contributed to my anxiety/stress/guilt/drinking and lack of sleep. Do you believe it to be likely to say that if in the very very slight chance I would have gotten any std, that I would have shown symptoms considering it would be a first time exposure and it has been nearly 4 weeks? I have been considering getting tested, i guess just for peace of mind, I know you think that is completely unnecessary, right? The place i am considering going says they can turn results around in 1-2 days so if i go tomorrow that would put me at 28 days.  Is that the proper timeframe? I have read different opinions on that.  In you experience, if i get tested which stds, if any, do you recommend doing?  Again, sorry if you think these are unnessary questions, just want to put this to bed for good! Lists of possible symptoms for new HIV infections contain the majority of symptoms that humans can experience as the result of a systemic infection. The occurrence of any single symptom, or even a few of them, is NEVER a useful indicator of new HIV infection.  Yes, you are seriously overthinking this, and there is no chance you could hve been infected.

Thanks for your continued insight.   I am still experiencing some stomach issues as I indicated a few days ago. You said that no STDs can cause such symptoms but I have read that a symptom of HIV shorty after transmission is an upset stomach, diarrhea, nausea, etc.   In your experience have you found this to be true?  If so, do you feel it is something to be concerned with?  Or am I overthinking this whole episode, and that is what is causing my upset stomach, cause there is NO chance I could have gotten anything from the event that happened (handjob)? Thanks for the info.  Wanted to ask you a quick follow up question.  It's been over a week since the incident.  The past couple days I have been experiencing a slight headaches/nausea with an upset stomach with some diarrhea.  Could that be a possible symptom of an STD?  This has obviously been the center of some guilt/regret and anxiety for me so obviously that could be what is causing those symptoms.  Didn't know if those were typical symptoms of any STD.  Thanks so much for you input

Thanks for the response.  Are you an M.D.? I've noticed you have had several responses on this forum.  Where are you getting all your information?  Sorry! Without intercourse (penis inside vagina, rectum, or mouth) there is no STD risk. None are transmitted by hand-genital contact or the kinds of contact you describe. Don't worry about it.
