Scared

Hi
In July 06, i had unprotected oral sex w CSW and protected vagina sex( one time event).  A month later, I had couple of pimples like above groin area. I squeezed it and blood came out. It went away. Around same time, I had swollen Lymph nodes... Went away after a month or so. Didnt have any symptoms till recently when I have a steady gf and when i started having an active sex life. Gf is a virgin and is disease free. Started w pimples on testicles and i squeezed it and it had blood. A couple weeks later, another pimple appeared. Another 2 weeks, had blisters on penis head. And this seemed to be recurring for past 3 months. ( I get symptoms as described every 2 weeks) Also, my penis head appears to be bruised ( dark purple spot size of  a nickel as if injured )About a month ago, I had white thrush on tonque. Went away after 1 week. Same time had swollen lymph nodes, and red pin sized red dots on body, hand and  legs( maybe about 15 spots in total) Couple of  brownish spots under eyes. Also, when I cut my self, blood seemed to have problem clotting properly like before... leaves small scars.... Some white spots ( skin discolorations...just about half a dozen spots like that on legs.... Have diarrhea...not too watery ( only occasionally watery) but definately stool is not as solid as before. Also for the past year, I had numbness on my hands and legs ( both sides). It is becoming more frequent the past 2 days and I m totally freaking out.
I dont know how are any of these symptoms associated and I tested negative for Shyphillis, chamydia and goronohea.
I dont know what to do. I live in Vancouver BC

I m totally worried but dont know what to do ? any Advise?

I don't speculate about non-STD causes.  As far as herpes is concerned, a provider's opinion is important.  Still, I doubt it.  Herpes is a lot less common on the scrotum than the penis, usually appears in clusters, and doesn't really look like pimples except superficially (and briefly).  Herpes lesions always clear up completely within 2 weeks of onset.  Numbness isn't a symptom of STD.

My bet is your provider isn't really up to speed on STDs or genital skin conditions.  Consider getting a second opinion, e.g. from a dermatologist.  In the meantime, this doesn't sound like any signficant health risk for you or your girlfriend.  And it has nothing at all to do with your oral sex adventure a year and a half ago.

Hi Dr HHH, MD
Thanks for your response. Do you have any idea what my symptoms could be then? Any advice will be helpful. My family doctor did look at one of the pimples on my testicles and he said it is probably a lesion and maybe genital herpes... but there is no test for it he said. I m more concern about the numbness that I m experiencing now but not sure what to do .

thanks

Protected vaginal = no significant STD risk.  Oral sex = very low STD risk.  You do not describe the symptoms of any STD.  Your tests show you don't have gonorrhea, chlamydia or syphilis.

What do to?  The STD services in Vancouver are among the best.  Visit your local STD clinic if you remain concerned.  But I see no evidence here of any STD.  There is no health risk to your girlfriend.

Best wishes--- HHH, MD
