Scares

Recently I have a fetish for transsexuals. Over the past month I have performed protected oral sex on them in which they have worn a condom. Have I put myself at risk for gonnerea or syphilis. I'm married and don't want to give anything to her, I'm certainly going to stop this behavior. It sounds like HIV isn't a risk from what I have read here

If I god for bid contracted syphillis would I be able to give it to her from having sex without kissing her considering it would be in my mouth. My last relations were last week, please advise if I need to get tested as I'm a nervous wreck. They did all wear condoms but I hoping their was no malfunction with the condom. Please advise. I have read. That giving oral is riskier than being the receiver. Thank you in advance for your help on this topic.

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be pleased to answer your questions.  You are correct that, in general, performing oral sex (fellatio) is a riskier activity than receiving it, at least for HIV, however the overall risk remains quite low even when condoms are not used and when condoms are used and do not break there is essentially no risk at all.  If the condoms appeared to be intact following sex, they were- when condoms fail, they break wide open leaving no question that they have failed.

Syphilis is rare and even rarer in terms of transmission with oral sex.  If your partners did not have sores that you noticed your risk for syphilis form the exposure you have described is essentially zero.

With condom use as you report you are really not at risk for gonorrhea, chlamydia (which typically does not infect the throat), or for syphilis.  I would not worry that kissing your wife might transmit anything to your wife.

I hope this comment is helpful to you. EWH
