She gave me a hand job using her own saliva

Made a very, very stupid mistake. Had a hand job from a masseuse where she used her saliva on her hand to rub my penis. She spit like 3 times at 3-4 minutes interval.

Since sexual arousal is like a daze, I was a bit late to avoid it and asked her and she said she's never had any kind of cold sores, never. So I better go home feeling safe and assured. Infact it was her mistake to not use lotion but it happened in a such a sexual frenzy that I am equally to blame for not being alert.
After the bad deed was done she wiped with some wet wipe tissue and I ran to nearest store (after 10 mins) bought and almost poured rubbing alcohol to the point that it really burned my scrotum and penis.

Note: I shaved my penis area before I went for massage. I got a slight nick on the sack but I made sure the drop of blood from cut was gone, then I met her after 1 hour.

Also I have has chickenpox when I was a kid and had herpes zoster on skin over the spinal cord when I was around 15

All this was just happened 20 hours back.

So I am scared! What are my chances of herpes, STD, STI or HIV?

Welcome to our Forum  The image of you dousing yourself with rubbing alcohol made me wince and was a bit of an overreaction to the events that you describe.  While it is, I suppose, theoretically possible that you might have acquired an STI from the exposure you describe the fact is that this was a no risk event which does not require testing or any level of concern.

You do not know that your masseuse had an STI of any sort and it is statistically unlikely that she did.  Even if she did, the CDC characterizes masturbation by another person as safe sex with no risk at all for HIV.  As for other STIs, these infections are not transmitted in saliva but through DIRECT contact and you did not have any.  In our combined over 70 years of STI-focused practice, reading the medical literature, and attendance at medical meeting, neither of us has ever seen or heard of a case in which any STI, including herpes, has been acquired in this way.  I urge you not to worry and there is no medical reason for testing.  EWH

Thank you Dr. Edward.

I appreciate your assessment but the idea of bring home some infectious STD/HIV to family is something I can not even bear thinking about.

I guess for people like me the old adage, "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen" applies very well.

I will try not to freak out.

I cannot tell you what this is. it is not an STI.  STI related symptoms do not come and go as you describe.  For some people, simply looking for symptoms leads to noticing discomforts that htey would not have otherwise noted.  EWH

Dr.Edward:

Today is day 24 of my exposure to the event, my irritation has gone completely and I am at peace.

However, I get mild pain in right testes and connected ureter (?) upwards towards right side of nave bu belowl. The pain comes in waves especially when I am seated and the scrotum gets pressure on it.
No burning urine, rash, different color of urine, no fever so far.

I know I have been paniking but what could it be?

Your worries are simply not justified and like so much that you have done related to the exposure you mention, represents an overreaction to a no risk event.  If the tingling you noted were due to HSV, lesions would have become visible within a few hours of the beginning of the abnormal sensation.  further, this is late (five days) for the irritation from the alcohol to manifest itself.  It may however, be a manifestation of your anxiety over this encounter, causing you to note normal sensations you would otherwise overlook.

I urge you to put your fears aside and not worry further.  EWH

Dr. Ed:
A quick recap:

Dec/21/2013 Episode as above

Dec/24/2013 Saw a doctor as I was very nervous.
- Doc gave me a shot of Rocephin & 2 pills of Zithromax (each of 500mg) just for that day.
- Checked genital, saw no problem. Took urine sample for Chlam, gonorrh. Waiting result.

Dec/27/2013 - Morning started tingling on left side corona of penis. Absolutely NO rash, No color change, no sore/bump. No irregular pee, burning pee. No swollen gland. Perfect health except irritation left corona/glan head of penis.
Seems like I had cleaned shaved hence growing hair may irritate as penis rest on left side.
Watching since dec/27/ for any symptom, no changes JUST irritation.

Could it be herpes coming in without symptom or could it be burn from my comical rubbin alcohol douse?

Worried, please help.

Thanks Dr for the comforting answer. But at the risk of sounding paranoid, I hope you did NOT miss out my caveat as "Note:" in my original query.

As I mentioned I shaved my scrotum and got a small nick but while showering I made sure (few times) that there was no lingering blood or any cut or discomfort. I did not notice anything not even the small nick itself.

But the nagging question is, would the small tiny itsy bitty hidden cut pose any problem due to her saliva.

And another thing Dr; after reading so many similar situations as mine influential professionals like you and CDC should put out a warning that saliva should NOT be used as a lubricant by high risk sex professionals. Maybe it's a stretch but why could she NOT have used a lotion????? Damn!!! Seems a lot of sex professionals just use their own saliva on their clients and go to town as it happened to me.

Anyways, have Happy Holidays to you and your family.
