Thank you so much. You really helped a lot. After I see my doctor I will post on here to let you know/other users know what it actually was. Again, thank you and have a great night.

Definitely not herpes. Do a little research to see many other discussions of what herpes is like; use the search link. What you describe doesn't even hint at herpes.
I am going to see my doctor this week because I am need of an annual physical anyway. My only problem is that the small flesh colored bump seems to have risen a bit and looks different than it has in the past month or so. Definitely not genital herpes tho? Because that is my biggest fear....
This doesn't sound like an STD. Your description most suggests some minor variation in skin anatomy, i.e. nothing abnormal at all; or perhaps a small sebaceous cyst. Conceivably it could be a genital wart, but warts don't usually persist unchanged in appearance for several months. Herpes definitely cannot do that; for sure it isn't herpes or any other STD.
Seeing a health care provider for personal examination is the only way to know for sure what it is, so make an appointment -- or just visit your local health department STD clinic. Feel free to return to the forum to tell us what the diagnosis is after you are examined. In the meantime, I see no cause for worry.
