Unprotected oral / Protected vaginal intercourse

Had an encounter with a CSW. I regrettably was high off marijuana and engaged in unprotected oral sex and had vaginal intercourse protected.

1. Any cause of concern from the unprotected oral sex encounter? I was the recipient and didn't perform oral on the CSW? My cause of concerns is herpes. Also is there a concern for any other STD?

2. Had protected vaginal intercourse. Any cause of concerns of this encounter?

3. Is there a risk concern? Can I resume having unprotected sex with my wife without the worry of infecting her?

You are at no measurable risk for any of those infections from the exposure you have described.  But no distant expert can ever guarantee someone isn't infected.  All that statement meant is that if someday you had an STD problem from that event or were to believe you had infected someone despite my advice, I would not consider myself responsible for it.

If anything, the risk of infection from a male to female transgender partner might be lower than from a biologically original male or female partner.  There's no cervix, which is a more likely site for STDs than the vagina.

It is time for you to stop splitting hairs.  Accept my reassurance at face value or not, I don't care.  But this isn't a debate.  I won't have any further comments or advice.

You mentioned that you can't guarantee that I am not infected. Which STD did I put myself at highest risk for.

1. HIV?
2. Herpes?
3. Syphillis?
4. Genital warts?

Please keep in mind that I am not sure if this was a transgender. She did have a vagina but I'm scared it was a transgender

I assume you mean transgender, not transvestite.  In any case, this doesn't change my risk assessment or advice.

Marijuana has no effect on STD susceptibility, except indirectly in the same way alcohol does:  if increases risk only by perhaps altering judgment and decision making about choosing partners, using condoms, etc.

Welcome back to the forum.  You could have asked this as a follow-up to your earlier question about HPV and apparently the same sexual exposure.

1) Oral sex is safe sex -- not completely free of STD risk, but much lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  Herpes is possible if your partner had an active oral HSV-1 infection, but probably less than one chance in many thousand, especially if you haven't had herpes symptoms (penile blisters/sores) within a couple weeks after the event.  If anything like that develops, or if you get discharge of mucus or pus from the penis, of course get examined -- but without such symptoms, you can safely assume you weren't infected.

2) Condoms work; no concern here.

3) Of course I can't guarantee you aren't infected.  But if I were in your circumstance, with my professional knowledge, I would continue unprotected sex with my wife.  But if you want 100% assurance, you will need to see a doctor or clinic for examination and STD testing.

Additional: Does a marijuana increase my susceptibility to STD's?

Additional: Im not sure if the CSW was a transvestite. Lets just say hypothetically it was. What kind of risk am I in. Also does this change anything
