Hiv Trasmission through hands

You will recall my question on 29/11/05 asking if my symptoms were "Oral Sex - yeast or herpes or something else".

My scrotum and penis still remains red (slight tingle and itchiness) despite applying bettidine and i also have a slight red infection towards the inner right thigh where the fold is.

As I mentioned it was a liberal party and there were other persons around, so what if the two females performing oral sex on me including a handjob had sexual fluids from another male beside me on their hands or in their mouth.  Can this be possible for transmission of hiv and std's?

This last week I had a slight sore throat and my glands around the pelvic area were more swollen.  I am feeling feverish and today have a headache.

Its now 7 weeks from exposure and I am desperate to know what risk there may be.

You said that it was unlikely to be herpes cos the symptons were not consistent.  Please elaborate further.

I am not sleeping, eating and stressed out.

Thank you.

I tested negative for all including HIV at 7 weeks.  Should I now put this matter behind despite a red scrotum that hurts at times?  Do you suggest to test again at 12/13 weeks?  Are the HIV tests in Spain reliable and up to date?

Your answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

HIV isn't transmiited by hand contact or by receiving oral sex.  Since you are 7 weeks out. Get tested.  The negative result will be 100% reliable and you can then rest easy.

Zero chance of HIV from the exposure you describe.

Re herpes: You don't describe any of the typical symptoms, such as perodically recurrent blisters/sores, typically lasting no more than a few days each time.  It doesn't cause the kind of symptoms you describe.

If you're stressed and not sleeping over this, you seem to be overreacting.  See a health care provider, but do not expect to get clear answers from me or from any other online source.
