Oral contact with sex workers

So I made a huge mistake that might ruin my life.  I was at a party that had some sex workers attending.  After I got intoxicated and did some cocaine I engaged in oral sex on two occasions with two diff sex workers.  Both uses condoms and did not appear to have an open sores.  On the first occasion she used some lotion for a while giving me a hand job, then put the condom on with her mouth, and licked my scrotum.  On the 2nd occasion she put the condom on with her hands and seemed to be careful not to touch skin outside of the condom.  My questions are.

1) does lotion degrade a condom? and can the licking of my scrotum pass any STD?
2) When putting the condom on with her mouth, if she briefly touched my penis with her lips, and did have a sore I didn't notice, what are the odds of that transferring herpes?
3) I've had some muscle aches, noticeably in my buttocks. it is about 36 hours since the event.  Is this a common symptom? Also I noticed a small red dot on my shaft, just below my head about 10 hours after, but I thought was just from one of them being kind of rough, is that too early for symptoms? What else could it be?
4) What is the earliest I can test for herpes, as I am actually in a serious relationship and refuse to give anything to her. I'd rather be honest and risk losing her, and wait for test results. Actually, can u give timelines for minimum testing of all stds.
5) What are the odds something could transfer to me by hand to genital contact, if maybe someone else at party had something or she did and touched herself.
6) I have been fatigued and sick to my stomach.. This might be anxiety, hangover, dehydration but when I combine muscle aches, and this feeling I feel the symptoms are mounting. What are you thoughts on this, once again do symptoms present in 36 hours?
7) What STDs would u consider this an exposure risk to?

Gonrrhea/chlamydia any time after 3-4 days
Syphilis 6 weeks
HIV 4-6 weeks, depending on the exact test(s) done
HSV 3-4 months

Do not succumb to website enticements to test for still others.  There are no other valid STD tests for asymptomatic infection in people with exposure like yours.

That will end this thread.  Do your best to move on without worry.

Sorry, and what are the minimum length required for all other conclusive std testing?

Three to four months for HSV testing.

But if you insist on doing it, have a test right away.  If already positive for HSV-1 (as are half of all adults in the US), you were not at risk this time, since you're already infected.  HSV-2 is essentially impossible from oral sex, so even with your non-objective fears of herpes, it really should be ignored.

I have to say getting an answer this quickly is incredible. Your level of service is better than any company I give money too, and it is always more than the cost of this post. Kudos

I know most of my questions are repetitive as I have been scouring this board reading just about every question possible.  I appreciate your direct answers, I just wish they made me feel better :) I will still have to go for testing to ease my mind.  That being the case can you please revisit this question and inform me the minimum times required for conclusive testing.

Thank you very much.

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for your question.

Even without a condom, oral sex is low risk for all STDs and zero risk for some.  STD testing is generally not recommended after such exposures, unless required emotionally for reassurance.  Here is a recent thread that explains in detail, plus other links in that thread:

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/oral-sex-question/show/2159728

To your specific questions:

1) No, lotions typically don't weaken condoms, unless oil based.  And even with oil, it the condom doesn't break wide open, protection is complete. There is no such thing as microscopic leaks that allow STD transmission; that's an urban myth.

2) Such brief, fleeting contact is entirely free of STD risk.

3,6) No STD causes such symptoms -- and in any case, no infection can cause symptoms in 36 hours.  2-3 days is the minimum, even for non-STD infections like common colds.  Your own suspicion of anxiety sounds most likely.

4) In this circumstance, testing for herpes would be a waste of money, time and energy.  Don't do it,

5) Hand-genital contact never transmits STD. Here's another thread to read:

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/Any-STD-Risk-from-Stripper-Touching-Handjob/show/2173021

7) You are at risk for no STDs from this event.

Please read the other threads.  And stop worrying.  Don't confuse your guilt or anxiety over a regretted sexual choice with STD risk from that choice. They aren't the same.

I hope these comments are helpful.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD
