Yes, it could certainly be a tear or a stretch. I would suggest not rubbing or manipulating it to look at it. I suspect it will heal on its own and that your tests will be negative. EWH
Thanks for the reply!
Yes it was present, but no it wasn't looked at. I got the blood and urine sample type tests. I'm still awaiting the results.
What I see down there doesn't resemble any STI picture I've ever seen but if I irritate it too much it does seem to have a slight lingering pain. It goes away. Could it be just a small tear or stretch? Thanks again
Welcome to the Forum. I'll be pleased to comment. By way of background, please be aware that the risk of any single exposure for acquiring STIs is VERY low, no matter who the contact is with. The reason I can say this with confidence is that most people do not have STIs and even when they do, most exposures do not lead to infection. In your own case you should have the added confidence of having been tested and having negative tests. Tests taken at five days would be positive for the most common STIS (such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc.). At this point, unless you develop signs or symptoms, I would not worry further.
As for the abnormalities that you describe, I suspect this is something normal that has been present but went unnoticed until now. It certainly does not sound like any STI. Was this present when you were tested and if so, did the person who examined you look at the area?
I hope these comments are helpful. EWH
