Do I Have A STD Risk

I recently went to a massage parlor and recieved a hand job. While I received the hand job the CSW kissed and licked my testicle. 30 seconds to a minute tops. She only kissed and licked that 1 area. There was no penetration. Time to time I shave my genital region including my testicles. I do not have any visible cuts on my genitals. From a quick look I did not see any cold sores on her lips.

Do I have a risk for any STD's? Can I contract HSV from this very brief  encounter? I am most concerned about the kiss/lick on the testicle.

Your advice is appreciated and this forum is a valuable resource.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your rapid reply. Maybe I am reading into your response too much. You used the words usually and generally.

Have you seen or heard anyone being infected with an STD-(HSV) from the manner I described. It was more like a light kiss to a smooch small lick on the testicle only.

I do not mean to get into the weeds. If you say all is good I will move on.

Thank you again.

Welcome to the forum.  Thanks for your question.

STDs are rarely if ever transmitted by hand-genital contact, and mouth contact with skin -- whether scrotum, elbow, or any other body area -- also is risk free.  For HSV infection to take hold, usually the virus has to be vigorously massaged into the exposed area.  That's why initial genital herpes episodes generally involve the areas that receive the most friction during sex -- the penis head and shaft, vaginal opening and labia minor in women, and so on.

So this was a no risk event for herpes and any other STD.  Don't worry about it.
