bump in pubic hair

three days ago i felt a slight pain in my pubic area and i reached down and felt a large bump that felt almost like a large pimple. this bump is at the very top edge of my pubic hair and is fairly painful when my pants rub it and when i bend over. i am trying to find out exactly what this is.

I have had one of those before. But mine was in ingrown hair from shaving. So, if you shave it could be from that.

If not it could be a pimple. but if it don't go away, then I would get checked.
