bumps - advice please

I found a bump on my inner thigh towards the center of my thigh just below where my scrotum normally hangs. I have one also one in the portion of your leg where the buttocks meets your upper thigh again towards the center (somewhat in the fold)

the thigh one is larger and became enlarge and sore one day after a lot of walking. I have been putting over the counter antibiotic cream 2x daily on both since and the thigh one has reduced in size and the buttock one has remained the same size. This has been present for ~ 3 weeks

Currently the thigh one is a little sore to the touch after a day of working but in the morning is typically pain free

I have taken some photos but not sure that will work here

Local hygiene (soap and water washing a couple times a day) can't hurt, but it will probably take 1-2 weeks no matter what.  If severe, an oral antibiotic might speed things up.

Welcome to the STD forum.  I'll try to help.  However, we do not examine posted photos on this forum  To my thinking, it comes too close to practicing medicine from a distance.  Our task is not to provide a specific diagnosis, just to help people put their risks and other aspects of STD into context.

Reponding first to the opening line:  The inner thigh is rarely a site for STD lesions of any kind.  On that basis alone, it is doubtful an STD explains the bump.

Now, having read the rest:  This sounds like garden variety boils or folliculitis (hair follicle infection), perhaps due to staph, strep, or some other skin bacteria.  The only STD that conceivably would cause genital area skin lesions is herpes, but this really doesn't sound at all like herpes, not only because of the location, bu the appearance you describe and the occurrence of 2 widely spaced lesions.

See a provider if you remain in doubt, or if the lesions get particularly sore or enlarged or if there is a lot of surrounding redness, fever, etc.
