a friend of mine is recently warded in a hospital overseas. apparently due to dehydration (she hardly had any water/food and had lots of alcohol 20 hrs before her flight).
this is a long shot and i am probably being ridiculous, but does a high level of leukocyteLeukocyte alkaline phosphatase (or a low level for that matter) have ANYTHING to do with HIV/STD?
leukocytes are a type of white blood cells. Depending on how high they are depends on how much of a concern it is. since she's dehydrated - it might even be falsely elevated.
This isn't a std issue.
