so how wounld u test for hpv
if someone you know has genital hpv, unless you are having naked skin on skin contact with their genital area, it's not a risk for you.

First and foremost, I think that you need to realize how common HPV is. You may have/had it and be asymptomatic( no symptoms.) So by your little " I'm glad I didn't sleep with her" comment, maybe not with her but just ONE sexual partner puts you at risk for HPV infection. Also, hpv is skin to skin transmitted. If you have ever penetrated a woman who was asymptomatic (which many people are) then there is a high possibility of transmission. If you are wondering about my expertise on this issue. I am hpv positive and have done and continue to research this infection. I am also a Health Science major with a concentration in Sexually Transmitted Infection with a certification in Peer Health Education, in english I give only accurate information. Though this does not make me an expert, I am sure that the information I did mention is pretty accurate. =)
