These are highly reliable tests. Believe the result.

Dr could you please answer 2 questions for me...my doctor said I was fine and never went over my results. Chlamydia trachomatis by real time pcr , trichomonas vaginalis and Neisseria gonorrhoeaa...all these tests real time pcr and negative. How accurate are these? On my blood work I had RBC 5.68 , RDW-CV 12.8, RDW -SD 39.9 and WBC AT 9.20 HE SAID THEY ARE GOOD BUT WHAT DO THEY MEAN.I realize my nerves are shot but maybe verification will help. I also made an appointment with a psychologist for anexity. I just wake up in the morning to pee every morning early which ive never done cause im a heavy sleeper and then I cant fall asleep again because my penis head or tip just feels weird. My sack hurts through out the day and anus sometimes. Hope psychologist will help! My urolgist said I had no wbc and it I dont have nsu...talked to her yesterday. Thank you for all you do! This is my final post. Next Psychologist help...lol
FInal answer. This is not an STI. If you are having trouble accepting this, I suggest you discuss this with a counsleor, explaining about your anxiety and possible guilt.

Hello,
I deleted my account after test results and thought I moved on. I couldnt stay off the net and started reading about NGU. I have no discharge but my penos still just hurts. I just don't understand what is going on with me. I am crying all the time and just extremely upset. I went to a urologist who said I looked fine. She did a urine test which came back with nothing. She checked my lrostate and said it was enlarged and put me on rapaflow....I feel fine some days and other horrible. The penis pain 1-10 is 3 or 4 but tolerable. It doesnt hurt to pee or when I stop peeing. Is this all in my head im not sure with anything anymore. I feel beeter when I take ibprophen. ..
Thank you
Glad to hear this ut not too suprised. Take care. EWH
Everything came back negative doctor said I am good! Even my liver enzymes look good.
Time to start living right!
None of this is particularly suggestive of any STI. EWH
Hello,
Quick question I went to the doctor and he looked at a rash that started on my groin inner thigh crease. It looks lile jock itch so I started using lotrin ultra....no std starts like that right? I have nothing ***** looking just rash which goes along my groin and under my sack. The lotrim made my balls sack get really red. I think some of it is stress waiting on results. Some of my blood tests came back and I have elevated liver enzymes and go for an ultrasound tomorrow....this may be due to my chrones I hope...but this doesnt sound like any std symptoms right. The doctor looked at it monday didnt say it looked bad at all...
I'm glad I could help. Take care. EWH
I will have to say the waiting part is the worst of all...my doc did give me a zpack for my bronchitis. I use your words to steady my heart from exploding. Im glad my doctor agreed with your statement of no STI....
Hello
Just saw the doctor and he said I look as healthy as a horse other than my blood pressure was high. He doesn't think I have anything either. The urine test will come back on Thursday and the blood test on Monday ...some of the blood results as early as tomorrow other than hiv which I paid 60 dollars for the walgreens test . Im starting to feel better and the symptoms are kinda going away...at least until I think about the results...
Avbailability of test results vary. I suggest you let your doctor know how important these results are for you. EWH
Thank you so much. Im heading to see my family doctor now. How long does it take to get results for what I need tested? That will bring the instant relief im looking for sure.
Thank you again....will update later
There is a very small risk for any STI following yor unprotected sex and the absence of symptoms makes it still less likely that you have acquired an STI from the exposure that you describe. I do not feel strongly that you need testing and should you test, I would wager that your tests will be negative. Please note however that UTI testing is not the same as STI testing.
I really would not worry. EWH
Thank you very much I figured it might be guilt . Im just going to my regular doctor tomorrow so I will see what he thinks ....he knows me and my wife have been on the rocks for the last year. Do you think I need to be tested? The uti pee test showed negative....but thats the internet pushing me to test white blood cells....right? Thank you again...you have brought some peace of mind.
Welcome to our Forum. I will read your question momentarily but, based on the title alone, I will tell you that for all of its strengths as a source of information, the internet is also a major source of misinformation due to incorrectly interpreted information, information taken out of context, or "information" that is just plain wrong. It is without a doubt, the wrong place for a person anxious about an STI, including HIV, to go for information.
With this, let me now read your post.
Guess what, your experience is just the sort of problem I am talking about. The internet and guilt are a bad combination. When persons are feeling a bit guilty, they tend to "look" harder for symptoms and in doing so OFTEN note sensations that they would otherwise not notice (to demonstrate this to yourself, focus for a minute on how your watch feels on your wrist or how your skin feels in areas where clothing brushes it). I suspect that this is what is going on here. Alternatively, the irritation you experienced on your penis, combined with your wife's yeast infection may have resulted in a minor yeast infection for you as well which you are now noticing (although I doubt this).
Try your best not to worry. there is really almost no change that you got an STI of any sort form the encounter that you describe nor any reason that you might have transmitted something to your wife.
Get tested tomorrow but in the interim, please do not worry and when you get checked PLEASE don't let the health care provider treat you "just in case" before you are tested. EWH
