terrible hearing loss, sore from Syphilis or Herpes
this is a bit awkward but I had a painless sore or syphilis chancre on my penis, it was like a red circle with the skin peeled off and then it seemed to crust like a cold sore like herpes. this was after I took 7 days of rocephin
This was accompanied by severe hearing loss and a cold sore or blister outbreak on my lips. I took 1500mg of valtrex for 5 days and I felt some kind of relief of congestion in the pelvic region and was able to urinate better which seems to indicate some kind of herpes infection. I've had some sort of bacterial prostatitis which caused me a great deal of pain in the pelvic area.
it seems like I need an STD test and I need to take G pencillin or can I take pencillin or doxycycline? I would not take antibiotics without a positive blood test....

how serious is this disease? the unreliable online reports say that syphilis can damage the heart and brain and cause DEMENTIA and my last EKG came back bad maybe showing damage, I have it here somewhere

it seems to be the tinidazole and ampicillin which damaged me so much and gave me deafness and aphasia, problems speaking? I remember it occurred right after taking one dose of tinidazole and 1g of ampicillin.

unfortunately someone did this to me and gave me this disease. it was a red sore that crusted and then was a bit itchy. but since it wasn't exuding or oozing then it's not a chancroid and since herpes usually has multiple lesions it seems likely that I have Syphilis. it was unusual in that I had the sore about 7 months after infection I think

how did you get this many prescription medications without blood tests. hopefully you don't say 'from online pharmacy'.
Some studies say that syphilis can cause hearing loss. I did feel a bit better after taking the 1g of amoxicillin and my hearing seemed a bit better and I thought my speech was improved. but neurosyphilis is only a late stage of the disease syphilis?
It was really foolish to take 3g of ampicillin I read the wikipedia article and it said NOTHING about how toxic this is, neither did the other sites online, I don't think even the PDR says anything about how toxic it is

are you a doctor? I guess it's safer to diagnose with a blood test but I did have the single red painless sore. I have some peeling skin on the bottom of my feet. I have been having terrible neurological symptoms like total body muscle weakness and problems speaking and hearing loss.

I need to know if syphilis is causing the hearing loss. the sore started as an ulceration I think and then it became a red round sore and healed within a few days or a week to a crust.
and also I need to know if the antibiotics like bicillin are safe and won't damage my hearing and brain, from neurotoxicity. I've already been terribly damaged and handicapped by hearing loss from ampicillin and tinidazole and roxithromycin. I think I stupidly started taking cipro and some amoxicillin 1g/day which has been reported to cause hearing loss
