Hard to say but what you do know is that it was not herpes.  If it recurs you should seek the advice of your doctor so that he/she can evaluate and test as needed.  eWH

what would have caused the itchy red rash and vaginal canker sore?

Better, thanks.   Not sure what the first result is or what test was performed.  Even if it was a HerpeSelect or other highly reliable test, the result is at worst, a "low positive" which often (about 80% of the time) turns out to be false positve.  Your later tests go on to confirm that you do not have herpes.

In the 2nd and 3rd tests there are three parts.  The first part is a mathematical ratio of the two parts listed below and means very little.  ignore it.  As for the hsv-1 IgG type specific and the hsv-2 IgG type specific rsults listed for tests 2 and 3, these are negative and, once again, confirm that you do not have Herpes.

Take care.  EWH

The way that the results are presented can certainly be confusing.  It looks as though you have had more than one test - is this correct?  If so, could you please list the results again without running them together (i.e. list them line-by-line.  When I see this I can better answer your question.  EWH
