virgin with herpes or over reacting?
I'm a virgin (male) 21 years old and uncircumcised. My pee was burnin a bit (nothing bad enough to make me want to stop) so I checked my foreskin and noticed red areas under the head of my penis. A couple of days later all the redness went away for the most part but two areas started peeling. It could have been from me checking so much but I'm not sure. The top layer was shedding off in two little spots. Also my my bladder or lower abdomen was twitching for a little bit. I checked with the doc but he probably only looked at it for 3 secs and said its probably a fungal or bacterial infection and rushed me out. Can someone tell me if this sounds like genital herpes or something minor? I have never received oral sex either so I don't know how I would contract it, but I read some symptoms and I had a few. It didn't look severe like those in picture of herpes. I want to trust my doc but he really didn't examine it for long. I also get small pimples on my butt not red or painful don't know if it could be related but it doesn't look like herpes. I have a pic but don't know how to post it!

if you've never received oral sex and you were both virgins, you weren't at risk for herpes!!!
Do you think it's necessary all my symptoms are gone withing a week, except the weird pimples on my butt. I don't want the doc thinking I'm crazy..

And what about the tiny pimple like pimple bumps on my butt checks and smelling around my tailbone around the same time? Is that nothing to worry about? Is there any way I can show pics?
fungal infections aka jock itch is very common in males.

And thanks for talking to me. my bladder twitched for like 10 secs one time. And my tailbone was aching i read that these were all symptoms. That's why I am worried so many things happened at once.. I know it's crazy for a virgin to think this way.

I should know I've had it 2 times the first going in I was quite embarrassed but they got me Meds and it cleared up!
The most likely Fungal infection of the area of your penis would be called Balanitis. It's not a STD and it's easily recognized by Doctors!
If you are a Virign and never had Oral sex, Anal sex or any other sort of sexual contact with another person your risk of getting Herpes is Non existent! The burning sensation is more likely fungal then a sexual disease it happends to a lot of guy who are Uncircumcised even if you clean it well. I hope he gave you Medication to fight the fungal infection it's imperative if you got medication to take every single day without skipping otherwise the Fungus infection will come back and probably will be worse. Again the chances of you getting herpes is zero. The pimples on your butt is normal I wouldn't worry about unless they start giving you trouble.
the small pimples on my butt about 3 on each cheek, have me worried since people say most symptoms look like pimples. I don't know if it is because I didn't get to show the doctor. Do you think it can be herpes??? I don't know how all these symptoms are happening when I haven't had any sexual contact down there. I have bad anxiety and it's making me panic.
Thanks for easing my mind a lot ma'am. So the peeling and red areas ( that he healed up within a couple of days) were most likely caused by something other than herpes? I've never had like bumps on the shaft or head of my penis just those peeling Red areas under the forsrskin.
No they did not do any burning test. I have not reviewed oral sex. And yes I try to clean under my forskin all the time. Does it sound like herpes? I have a picture but don't know how to post it.
did they also do urine testing to check for urine infections too?
