What you have "heard" is incorrect. If you had syphilis it woul be detected by the testing you have had. Please on't worry. EWH
i just have one last question regarding syphilis you know that i tested for syphilis and other stds more than year (almost 14 to 15 months) after exposure so how reliable negative rpr and tpha i ask because i heard syphilis may become negative after more than year my fear is that i could infected my wife and then my infection was eradicated by the immune system is this possible?
Nothing more to say about this. As I sai before "there is simply no reason for you to be worried that you have an STD or that you had one that you give to you wife or child."

Thank you but what about that me and wife and baby not having symptoms at all all this time? is not this proof? and shouldnt my baby have clear symptoms by now specially from clamydia and gonorea if she were infected?
I forgot to say that I read a lot about std symptoms during pregnancy and after symptoms with newborns with stds and that all never happened and i have these questions
1- could my wife be infected by now with no symptoms?
2- could my baby be infected by now with no symptoms?
taking into consideration my negative tests
I am so scared doctor! I read about stds complications for babies please tell me if we are safe now??
Welcome to our Forum. I'll try to help. Most STDs can occur in both symptomatic and asymptomatic form. At least in part because of that, we rely on tests to help us sort out the presence or absence of STDs. You have been well tested and found to be negative. It is no time to believe your tests.
In your own situation, the exposures you reported occurred long ago. It is important to also appreciate that most people, including most commercial sex workers, do not have HIV or other STDs. Furthermore, in the unlikely situation that she was infected, most unprotected exposure to infected partners o not lea to infection. Your exposure was partially condom protected and the unprotected portion was brief. When you put these facts together with your negative tests, there is simply no reason for you to be worried that you have an STD or that you had one that you give to you wife or child.
I hope my comments will be helpful. It is time for you to stop worrying. EWH
